Swimming classes update 2018

Dear parents, the VUB pool will open again as of 8 January 2018. 

We are pleased to offer you the following changes and options:

Monday

• The Monday class (21107) held in Sport City for primary 1-2 children will continue at the same place and at the same time: no change.

Tuesday

• New class: Tuesday from 16.00 to 17.00 at the VUB (children will leave the school at 15.30 with the teacher by foot). This course will be for non-swimmers and will be open to all primary school children from P1 to P5. First lesson on 09 January 2018

Registrations will be open on the website from 04 December 09.00. Activity code: 21209.

Children pick up: Parents should pick up their children at the pool at 17.00

Wednesday

• The Wednesday class for nursery children (01302) currently taking place at the Calypso pool changes. From 10 January 2018 on, it will take place at the VUB pool from 13.30 to 14.00.

Children walk to the pool with the instructor.

Children pick up: Parents should pick up their children at the pool at 14:00.

• The Wednesday class for primary children (21310), which is currently being held at the “communal pool in Ixelles” changes. As of 10 January 2018, it will be transferred to the VUB pool from 14.00 à 15.00. (Children walk to swimming pool with the instructor).

Children pick up: Parents should pick up their children at the pool at 15.00.

Thursday

• New class: Thursday from 16.00 to 17.00 at the VUB swimming pool (departure at 15.30 by foot with the instructor). This course is for children who can already swim (classes will be held in the big pool only) of primary 1 and 2.
Registrations will be open from 04 December 09.00 on the site.

Activity Code: 21405 – First class on 11th January 2018.

Children pick up: Parents should pick up their children at the pool at 17.00.

Friday

• The Friday class for primary 3-5 (21501) currently taking place at Sport-City changes. It will be transferred to the VUB from 12 January 2018 on.

Children walk to the pool with the instructor at 15.30.

Children pick up: Parents should pick up their children at the pool at 17.00.
 

• The Friday class for secondary pupils will continue in Sport City as is the case now: no change.
