Extracurricular Activities

APEEE Ixelles offers a wide range of Extracurricular Activities (ECA) to pupils of all language sections, from nursery to secondary. They are designed to provide a friendly and fun environment in which the participants can pursue and develop a range of interests such as art, sports, musical and theatrical expression and IT skills.

A wide range of activities including sport, music, arts, IT.

Activities take place after school and cater to the different timetables of nursery/primary/secondary students

Programme includes: “snack and go” and supervised study time (etude)

The majority of the activities are organized on an annual basis. After school activities for Nursery/P1/P2 on Fridays are organised per semester (biannually). This allows students to vary their activities and have new experiences during the year, without having to make an annual commitment.

Dates

After School Activities & Individual Music lessons commence on the second week of the first school term and continue until the Wednesday of the last week of term in July.

The exact dates for each after school activity is indicated in the online description of the activity.

For parents who are seeking a child-minding service, where the emphasis is on relaxation and free-time rather than activity based, the European Commission runs a fee-based after-school childcare service for children aged 4-12 years (garderie).
