Menus are posted on the doors of the refectory and of the teachers' canteen and also on the screen in the canteen area. The menus are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
We regularly promote traditional foods and recipes from the language sections represented in the school. Once a month, under the heading "I taste & I discover", the canteen offers a traditional menu of one of the sections represented in European schools.
Menus (composition, quantities and portions) are proposed by the Canteen Office and verified by a professional nutritionist. Adaptations are applied according to age requirements. General principles for the establishing of menus, as well as for the preparation of meals in the school canteen are set out in the APEEE Food Policy.
Check our food policy by clicking HEREIn general, the canteen aims to propose simpler, non-sophisticated meals, with separation of components (meat/side-dish/vegetables), limiting deep fried and pre-processed food in the menu as well as salt content. “Exotic” dishes and very intense flavours (e.g. strong spices) are also generally avoided.
