Wednesday take-away lunch for secondary students

THIS MESSAGE CONCERNS PARENTS OF SECONDARY STUDENTS ONLY.

Dear parents,

Following requests from parents, we continue in our effort to offer to more students the possibility of school lunch on Wednesday. Unlike for the nursery classes, it is unfortunately not possible to modify the school time schedule for secondary students. Students who take the school bus on Wednesday thus can't have a regular hot lunch as on other days. As an alternative, the WG Canteen together with the canteen management decided to offer the option of a take-away lunch that will be proposed to secondary students on Wednesdays as of 9 January 2019.

We will offer a packed cold lunch, consisting of a sandwich, fruit, chocolate or corny bar and bottle of water. The lunch will be available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian version and it will be prepared and distributed by the cafeteria staff. As for the sandwich, students can choose any of those on offer in the school cafeteria.

Please be aware of the following conditions for this option:

1. The service is available on subscription basis only. The regular canteen tariff and standard conditions for enrolment and reimbursement apply as on other days, i.a. the need to pay the annual APEEE membership fee and to enrol for the service at least until the end of the trimester. It is currently not possible to use the APEEE e-enrolment system for this option. To subscribe for the service, you need to contact the canteen office via e-mail (cantine@apeeeb3.be).

2. The service is available only to secondary students.

3. The lunch will be distributed in the cafeteria from 10:55 onwards in a "fast-track lane" to avoid long waiting times. Depending on the demand, there would be an opportunity to collect the lunch also immediately before the departure of the school bus.

4. Please note that in accordance with the Transport rules, students are not allowed to eat on board of school buses.

5. It is the responsibility of the student to collect his/her packed lunch, no reimbursement is possible for forgotten lunches.
