Exhibition of photos and posters on the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968 was open in the entrance hall of the building A of the school.
Few days ago a small exhibition of photos and posters (including English and French texts) on the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968 was open in the entrance hall of the building A. On 21 August 1968, armies of 5 countries led by the Soviet Union entered Czechoslovakia in order to stop the democratisation process that should lead to ´socialism with human face´. The non-violent resistance of Czechs and Slovaks became a symbol of the fight for democracy. The exhibition can be seen until beginning of June. The organisers would like to thank the Permanent Respresentation of the Slovak Republic to the EU and the Czech Centre for lending the photos and posters.
