EEB.green call for action /appel à participation

Dear Parents,

 EEB.green is organising its annual planting action!

What is EEB.green?

We are a project that isorganized and fully managed by pupils from our school EEB3. The basic principles of our project are to make the school green, ecological and environmentally friendly in all sorts of ways. Our project has its own garden at school. There we grow herbs, vegetables and fruits. The harvest is often given to pupils. The project was founded last year and in spring 2017 the fundaments for our garden were built.

THIS SPRING WE WANT TO EXPAND! We want to enlarge our garden so that we can harvest more. The plan is: At least enough potatoes for the canteens salad-bar. We also want to grow diverse types of herbs (for example Rosemary, thyme and parsley).

Therefore, we need the help of your children!

Our planting action will take place on Saturday 17th (10-16h) and Sunday 18th (11-15h) of March. It would be great if you could send us your child (S1-S7) because we need a lot of help!

Send us an email (eeb.green.info@gmail.com) if your child is interested, so that we can register his/her name (necessary for safety reasons)! We will answer all your questions and we will send you the invitation to enter the school that weekend.

PS: If your child can not come but is interested in the EEB.green project: NO PROBLEM! Every Monday lunch break in room C006 we have our `meetings´ where we discuss everything.

PS2: The APEEE supports the majority of this project with a budget of 800 €.
