Call for proposals for new extracurricular activities in 2019-2020 - Deadline: 2 April 2019

The APEEE is currently working on the Annual programme of extracurricular activities for the school year 2019/20 and is considering the possibility to include a number of new activities. We would like to invite you to send suggestions for new extracurricular activities that you wish to be considered.

In accordance with existing APEEE criteria, any proposed activity should allow children to develop an interest or a talent in a particular area, whether artistic, sports or musical. They should be as inclusive as possible, interesting for boys and girls across all language sections.

All proposals will be reviewed based on the suitability of available premises, availability of instructors, level of pupil interest and in consultation with the School. Therefore, we cannot commit to including all the activities proposed by the parents in the programme for the school year 2019/20.

In parallel, the APEEE is working on the design of the Summer camps for secondary pupils, to be organised jointly by the APEEE and the School during the last 2 weeks of the summer term. Last year (2017/2018), the activities offered were: S.T.E.A.M, ITC & Media Robotics, Sports & Art, Chinese language. We invite you to suggest other possible activities to be included in this year’s summer camps.

In both cases, the proposals for new activities should include detailed information on the content of the activity as well as an assessment of potential pupil interest. Parents may use this template if they find it useful )

We look forward to your ideas and suggestions!!!!  Please send them by 2 April 2019 to:
