APEEE - Update on services & preventive measures

Dear parents,

We inform you that as for Wednesday 11/3 all APEEE services will be operated regularly. 

Several measures have been adopted to address risk:

  • Staff

All staff working for the APEEE have been checked for visits to any of the high risk areas indicated by the Office of the Secretary General of the European School (at the present time: UPDATE 10/03/2020, please check regularly for updates)

The staff is committed to following the key hygiene protocol. Following the School’s instructions, disinfectant gel has been made available in all offices of the APEEE and in the hall just in front of the Canteen. All monitors have been provided with disinfectant gel for their personal use and actively promote awareness and implementation of the hygiene protocol.

  • Transport

All buses will be disinfected at the end of each day with suitable products.

  • Canteen

Instructions on the hygiene protocol are displayed on the walls of the hall on the TV screens of the Canteen.

  • Extracurricular activities

Following the School’s policy, the swimming lessons have been cancelled.

As for the next days, the APEEE will keep regular contact with the school management to coordinate actions. Although the situation is constantly evolving, the APEEE is committed to providing information as much up-to-date as possible in order to enhance resilience within the school community.
